We create safe spaces for educators, youth workers, and caregivers to
learn, practice, and activate trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning.
Children and youth who come from hard places are exposed to trauma and toxic stress, and are at far greater risk for delayed mental and social development, as well as poor academic behaviors and performance.
Mental Health Matters envisions a community where all adults are empowered through trauma-informed care to promote social-emotional learning, improve academic behaviors, and transform their relationships with youth.
We work with families, caregivers, educators, and youth workers to:
"Agencies at every level [with] children should rally and promote 'T.I.C.' for HEALTHY children. Incredible training. Sarah and CoraLyn are highly knowledgeable and engaging. 5 Star training!"
